By Marcus A. Williams
Special to the AFRO (November 12, 2009) - The love and positive energy that one new Washington, D.C. resident received when he first came to the nation’s capital motivated him to try his comedic hand one last time. Coming from the West Coast, Blaze moved to the District in 2004 with no job on the horizon. He had no idea what it would be like living in such a congested and fast-paced East Coast city.

“I finally landed a job as a dispatcher at a taxi company and everyone was so nice. Blaze has been a practicing comedian since his teenage years and after eight years out of the game, the District’s international flare encouraged him to give entertainment another shot.
